Fast National ratings for Sunday, Jan. 6, 2012Jillian Michaels returned to "The Biggest Loser" and with her came an uptick from the ratings of the previous season's premiere. The newest edition averaged nearly 6.8 million viewers, as compared to last year's premiere average of 6.4 million viewers.
It wasn't enough for a win for NBC, though. FOX won the night on the back of the NFC Wild Card game between the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins, earning 13.7 million viewers and a 7.8 rating/12 share in households.
CBS was second with 9.7 million, 6.2/9, followed by NBC at 6.4 million and a 4.0/6 and ABC at 5.5 million and a 3.3/5.
FOX also won the 18-49 demographic with a 5.6, more than doubling the second place NBC at a 2.2. ABC was third with a 1.8 and CBS was last with a 1.7.
